Booking a Round
Visitors can book a tee time online through our Visitor Booking page. Online visitor booking opens five days in advance. If you would like to arrange a tee time further in advance, please contact Deeside Golf Club directly and our team will be happy to help.
Visitors are welcome to play both courses at Deeside Golf Club. Our Blairs Course is a 9-hole course available to visitors every day after 10am, making it the most flexible option for visitor golf. Our Haughton Course is our 18-hole championship course, with visitor tee times available at selected times subject to member play and availability.

Yes. Visitors can book tee times for The Blairs Course through our online Visitor Booking page. Online bookings open five days in advance. For bookings further in advance, please contact the club.

Yes. Visitors are welcome to play our 18-hole Haughton Course at selected times throughout the week, subject to availability. As the Haughton Course prioritises member play, visitor availability is more limited and advance booking is required.

Yes an official handicap of 28 or better is required to play the Haughton Course.
Online visitor booking opens five days in advance. If you are planning a golf trip or would like to arrange your round further in advance, please contact the club directly.
Same-day bookings may be possible where visitor tee times remain available. Check our online booking system for current availability or contact the club before travelling.
For group bookings, golf tours or bookings that need to be arranged further in advance, please contact Deeside Golf Club directly. Our team can discuss availability and help plan your visit.
Please contact the club if you need to amend or cancel your booking. Cancellation terms depend on when your booking is cancelled, so we recommend reviewing our current Visitor Cancellation Policy when making your reservation.
The Blairs 9-Hole Course
Yes. The Blairs Course is open to visitors seven days a week after 10am, subject to availability. Its greater visitor availability makes it an ideal choice for golfers looking for a flexible round of golf in Aberdeen.
Yes. The Blairs Course is particularly well suited to golfers looking for a shorter and more accessible round. It provides a high-quality golf experience over nine holes and is an excellent option for newer golfers, casual players and those who don’t have time for a full 18-hole round.

No. A handicap is not required to play The Blairs Course, making it a more accessible option for casual golfers and those who are newer to the game.

The time required will depend on the size and pace of your group and how busy the course is. As a nine-hole course, The Blairs offers a significantly shorter golf experience than a full 18-hole round, making it particularly convenient for golfers with limited time.

Yes. The shorter nine-hole format makes The Blairs a great option for golfers who want to fit a round around work or other commitments, particularly during the longer daylight hours of the Scottish summer.
Visitors can enjoy complimentary use of Deeside Golf Club’s practice facilities, including the driving range, short-game area and putting green. Our driving-range bays also feature TrackMan technology. Visitors are also welcome to visit the Pro Shop and enjoy food and drink in the clubhouse before or after their round.
The Haughton 18-Hole Course
Yes. Visitors are welcome to play Deeside Golf Club’s 18-hole Haughton Course at selected times, subject to availability. Advance booking is required because member play is prioritised.
Deeside is a members’ golf club and the Haughton Course prioritises access for members. Selected visitor tee times are therefore made available around member play. Visitors looking for greater booking flexibility may wish to play our 9-hole Blairs Course, which welcomes visitors every day after 10am.

Yes. The current visitor handicap requirements for the Haughton Course are a maximum handicap of 28 for all players ladies. Golfers may be asked to provide evidence of their handicap.
Current visitor times, subject to availability, are:
- Monday: 11am–3pm
- Tuesday: 12pm–3pm
- Wednesday: No visitor play
- Thursday: 10am–3pm
- Friday: 3pm–6pm
- Saturday: 4pm–6pm
- Sunday: 1pm–4pm
Availability may change, so please check the online booking system or contact the club when planning your visit.
Group and visiting-party enquiries are welcome, subject to Haughton Course visitor availability. Please contact the club directly to discuss your requirements, particularly if you are organising a golf trip or require tee times further in advance.
Visitor Green Fees & Payment
Visitor green fees vary according to the course, season and whether you are a Scottish resident.
Haughton Course – April to October

- Scottish Resident: £120
Haughton Course – November to March

Blairs Course – April to October

Yes. Visitors can choose between the 9-hole Blairs Course and the 18-hole Haughton Course. The Blairs Course provides greater availability and a shorter, flexible round, while the Haughton Course offers an 18-hole championship golf experience with more limited visitor tee times.

For online tee-time bookings, payment is made securely by debit or credit card during the booking process. Different arrangements may apply to advance or group reservations made directly with the club.
Online visitor bookings can be paid securely using a debit or credit card. If you are arranging an advance or group booking directly with the club, our team will advise you of the available payment options.
Cancellation terms depend on how far in advance you cancel your booking. If the course is closed and you are unable to play because of conditions such as bad weather, you will not be charged for the round. Please review our current Cancellation Policy when booking for full details.
Before Your Round
We recommend allowing plenty of time before your tee time to check in, prepare for your round and make use of the practice facilities.
All visitors should check in at the Pro Shop, located on the right just inside the clubhouse, before beginning their round.
Yes. Smart-casual attire is expected both on and off the golf course. Jeans are not permitted on the golf course and soft spikes are preferred.
Yes. Rental golf clubs are currently available for £30, push trolleys for £5 per round, and a limited number of electric trolleys for £20 per round. We recommend checking availability in advance.
Yes, we have two rental buggies at £30 each.
Caddie requests can be made when booking. Caddie availability cannot be guaranteed, but the club will endeavour to accommodate requests where possible.
Yes. Visitors receive complimentary use of our practice facilities, including the driving range, short-game area and putting green. Each driving-range bay also features TrackMan technology.
Yes. Visitors are welcome to use the practice facilities before playing, so you may wish to arrive early enough to warm up before your tee time.
Course Conditions & Weather

If you are unable to play because the course has been closed due to conditions such as bad weather, you will not be charged for your round.
Golf can generally continue in wet weather provided the course remains safe and open. Course conditions can change, particularly during periods of severe weather, so visitors travelling to Deeside are encouraged to check current conditions before setting off.
Clubhouse, Pro Shop & Facilities
Yes. Visitors with a tee time are warmly welcomed into the Deeside Golf Club clubhouse. Situated above the 18th green, the clubhouse offers panoramic views across the Dee Valley and is a great place to relax before or after your round.

Yes. Visitors are welcome to enjoy food and drink in the clubhouse, with dishes prepared by the club’s kitchen team.
Absolutely. Deeside’s fully stocked Pro Shop is open to visitors and offers a wide range of leading golf brands, clothing, equipment and accessories.
