Sam joined the Professional Shop Team in 2022 and completed his traineeship through the PGA in 2024. Sam has competed in many of the mini tours around Europe and has been influential in growing our renowned Junior Section at Deeside Golf Club. In 2024, Sam was appointed PGA Professional/Head of Junior Development.
These are the terms and conditions for booking tee times using our Internet booking facility.
Payment
=======
To book a tee time on-line you will have to enter your credit or debit card details using our secure on-line payment process.
Refund / Cancellation Policy
============================
You can cancel your booking by calling the Pro Shop on 01224 869457
If you cancel your booking more than 1 week before your date of play, there will be no charge made to your credit/debit card.
If you cancel your booking less than 1 week in advance, there will be a charge of 50% of the green fee made to your credit/debit card.
OPEN COMPETITIONS: If you cancel your booking less than one month before your date of play, you will lose your entry fee.
Failure To Cancel Your Booking

If you fail to cancel your booking, there will be a charge of 100% of the green fee made to your credit/debit card.
Course Closed
=============
If you are unable to play your round of golf due to the course being closed (e.g. bad weather), no charge will be made to your credit/debit card.
Booking Transferable
====================
The Booking is completely transferable. Therefore, should you be unable to make your tee time, you can offer the tee time to someone else such as a family member or friend.
Handicaps
=========
This facility is only available to golfers who have a golf club handicap supported by a valid CDH number.
Dress Code
==========
Smart casual attire both on and off the golf course. No jeans permitted on the golf course.
Spikes
======
Soft spikes are preferred on the course.

Margaret was Ladies captain in 2007 and 2008, is a past captain of Aberdeenshire Ladies County Golf Association and also a past Captain for the SVLGA, her Father is a past captain of Deeside and her brother is a past council member. Given Margaret’s extensive experience, commitment to Deeside and the wider golfing community, and her family ties with the club, Margaret will be excellent in the role in representing the Club at both internal and external events.

David Halliday served as Vice Captain under Past Captain Simon Cruickshank. David has been a member since 2001 and brings his professional acumen to Council, particularly in progressing with the Clubhouse refurbishment. As a past Club Champion (both Dunriach and Stroke Play), David’s golfing knowledge has also been instrumental in the progress with Course projects.
